Notes re: COVID screening
Submitted By Shannon Todd on Wednesday, November 11, 2020
We have been back on the ice for a month and we want to thank everyone for volunteering their time on the ice and with conducting the COVID screening to allow our players into the arena safely.  The following are reminders for parents entering the arena and when you are conducting the COVID screening.

COVID Screeners:

  • You must stay in the pay booth area for the entire ice time.
  • Please ensure you are reviewing the COVID Screening form for completeness and that it is legible.  Some forms have been handed in without dates, phone numbers and difficult to read.
  • The player needs to have the form completed to enter.
  • If a player is late for their ice time they are to allowed entrance.
  • If a parent needs to leave the arena during the ice time for a player need (i.e missing equipement, water bottle) they will be allowed re-entrance only for this reason however they are required to complete another COVID screening upon entry as per the agreement WLMHA has with the municipality.
  • Only one parent/guardian per player will be allowed entrance into the arena.
  • No food or drink allowed, regardless if it is in a re-usable container.  Players are allowed to bring in their water bottle.

Unfortunately, if you are on a bench staff, you are the parent allowed in with their player.  No other spectator will be allowed entrance with their player.

Volunteer hours have been scheduled up until mid-December, and an e-mail advising of your volunteer times has been sent to your e-mail address provided.  If you are scheduled to volunteer and do not attend this may impact your ability to receive your volunteer refund.  If you have any questions please contact [email protected].
