Tournament Rules

  • All teams are required to submit a copy of their OMHA Approved Roster and OMHA Travel Permit by no later than December 21st.  Teams are also asked to submit a copy of one (1) completed Modified Ice Participant List. Prior to each game, Team Managers will need to review the provided Modified Ice Participant List to ensure it is up to date.
  •  All teams will play five (5) Games. 
  • Games will be Half-Ice Format (two half-ice modified games running simultaneously).
  • Games will be one period of 24 minutes (run time) with two (2) minute buzzer being used for shift change.
  • Teams will be required to share the bench with the other team.
  • Each team will be given their own dressing room for the duration of the Jamboree (West Lorne Black and West Gold will share and East Lambton White and East Lambton Black will share rooms).
  • Coaches will be provided with Game MVP pucks to award after each set of games.
  • Games will start on time BUT may run ahead as permitted.  Teams need to be ready to play 10 minutes ahead of your scheduled game time.
  • One coach per team will need to be on the ice as per normal U7 game play. 
  • Coaches are asked to help with move the dividers, nets etc. during flood. Floods will occur after the 11:05 AM game, the 12:15 PM game, and the 1:20 PM game.
  •  All players will receive a swag bag.
  • This Jamboree is sanctioned by OMHA and will follow OMHA rules for Jamborees.
  • Any maltreatment, including harassment, yelling, abuse of officials, tournament coordinators, administrators or any violations of West Elgin Arena Code of Conduct will result in the individual and/or team's immediate removal from the jamboree. Any disagreement with any procedure or jamboree structure shall be made directly to the Tournament Coordinator onsite, and only to the Tournament Coordinator.
  • Dressing rooms are to be kept clean, and left in a respectable state.  Any abuse of this policy will result in removal from the tournament/jamboree, and will result in an official complaint of the team's conduct being made to the home minor hockey association of the team. 
  • Scores will not be kept.  This is a fun jamboree.
  • All players will receive a participation medal for completing the jamboree.

Team Management Portal:
All teams will be management through the Team management portal which is assigned to the email of the person you identified as your contact when you filled out your registration.  Once you have registered your team online, you will be prompted to create an online account to manage your team.  This should be done by the team official best suited to handle uploading documents and managing the team.


Once your team has been accepted into the tournament, you will an email notifying you of this and you must log into your portal and upload your documents.  You must also confirm your payment method. 

Any teams that have not submitted their OMHA Travel Sanction, & Rosters by December 20th, 2023 will be removed from the tournament and your tournament fee will be forfeited.  receive instructions on uploading your sanction permit, roster, and payment method to your profile.  All of your team management MUST be done through the team management portal. 

Tournament Fee Payment:
You must confirm in your team management portal how you intend to pay your fees.  Payment details are available in the team management portal.  Any team who does not submit payment within 10 days of the confirmation of your registration may be removed from the tournament.

While all local places are aware of the tournament coming into town, reservations are recommended for team meals. List of available locations for reservations coming soon!
