Tryout & First Skate Schedules Now Posted
Submitted By Karen Booth on Friday, August 24, 2018
Welcome back! In a few short weeks we'll be back at the arena. A few important reminders to help the 2018/19 season start smoothly:

New Players: We look forward to meeting you! We require a copy of your child's birth certificate. As well, one parent must complete the online Parent Respect in Sport Course prior to the beginning of the season (OMHA requires this course for every hockey family in Ontario).

Fees: All fees are due in FULL (or have a payment plan in place) before a player will be allowed on the ice. This includes:
  • Registration fees: online payment or e-transfer ([email protected]) in advance, NO payments accepted at the arena.
  • Volunteer cheque (post dated January 1st, 2019) These cheques will be collected by the volunteer coordinator at tryouts or your players first skate
  • Tryout fees (online payment, e-transfer, or $100 cash at first tryout)
If you're not sure about your account please contact the registrar ([email protected]) well in advance of your players first skate. This is a very busy time of year for everyone so please do your part to help be organized.

Volunteer Fee is $200/child to a max of $400/family. Sign up during tryouts or first skates to have the best choice of volunteer opportunities.

Tryouts: Players will be issued a jersey for tryouts. Please bring your own water bottle. Players must attend tryouts to be considered for a rep team.

Looking forward to a great season! Go Comets!
