Volunteer Requirements
For the 2022-2023 Season, eight (8) hours per $150 volunteer fee are required (max. 16 hours per family).
Upon completion of your volunteer hours, you may submit a
request for the refund of your volunteer fees.
It is up to the parent to ensure they complete the mandatory eight (8) hours in order to be eligible to receive your refund.
Sign-up for 2022-2023 volunteer jobs will be posted online when available.
Some examples of previous volunteer positions include:
Pre-Season
Organizing equipment room
Water bottles
Trainer Kits
Tryouts
Hand out, track and sort jerseys
Bench Staff (each team)
Head Coach (please see link in news feed for application and instructions)
Assistant Coach (max. 2)
Trainer
Manager
Please note: There are minimum requirements for each bench staff position (e.g., certification, Respect in Sport) based on age group.
On-ice Helpers
Please note: On-ice helpers must be pre-approved by the Board and submit a police check including vulnerable sector screening and Respect in Sport - Activity Leader certification prior to stepping on the ice.
Jersey Parent (one per team)
Carry jerseys (home and away sets), bring to every game, wash jerseys frequently (depending on age group)
