Congrats to the U18 REP 2023/2024 OMHA Champions!
The U18 REP West Lorne Comets have had an incredible season. U18 REP earned a spot at the Red Hats, and headed to Halton Hills over the weekend to compete in the OMHA Championships. After an exciting overtime goal in the semi-finals, the Comets went to the Finals!
In the final game, the Comets played hard, and won 4-3 over South Bruce Blades in the Championship game. The Comets earned the coveted title of OMHA Champions, the Red Hats, and will now receive an invitation to attend a private event - for Champions only - at the Hockey Hall of Fame.
U18 REP is one of very few West Lorne teams to make West Lorne Minor Hockey history by winning the Triple Crown:
- Silver Stick Champions
- Shamrock League Champions
- OMHA Champions
This is an incredible accomplishment. Most of these players and bench staff have been together playing for the Comets since the mite/tyke (U5/U7) days, and for some, this may be their last year of minor hockey. We are so proud of their effort, their sportsmanship, their support of the younger teams, and their accomplishments!
