West Lorne Minor Hockey Association - Sponsorship Opportunities
West Lorne Minor Hockey offers opportunities for our local youth to learn hockey skills and participate in games throughout the hockey season. In order to help keep our costs down we seek various sponsorships on a yearly basis. Sponsorship helps us cover the various expenses that occur each year including ice time, skills clinics, referees, time keepers, equipment, pucks, jerseys and much more.
Sponsorship Types Available Are:
- Skills Clinic Sponsor
- Organization Sponsor
- Tournament Sponsor
Skills Clinic Sponsor
Sponsoring a skills clinic covers the cost of hosting outside organizations to travel to West Lorne to provide additional skills and training sessions for our players. This saves players and families time and money from traveling to London, and also provides our local players with additional opportunities to advance.
Organization Sponsor
Organizational sponsorship funds are used to cover expenses WLMH incurs during the year related to paying for ice rental fees, purchasing equipment, or covering the cost of hosting games.
Tournament Sponsor
Tournament Sponsorship helps to cover the fees related to running in-house tournaments like the required ice fees and referees in order to keep tournaments running in West Lorne. Hosting tournaments in our community helps our players to play more competitive hockey locally, and also brings many families into the community for tournaments.
Sponsorship forms & applications must be accompanied by payment. Applications are available online here. Payment are accepted by:
- E-Transfer to [email protected] Please include your business name and type of sponsorship in the notes (i.e. SKILLS SPONSORSHIP)
- Email to arrange cheque drop-offs, as we would love to get a photo op for social media.
All sponsorship dollars are greatly appreciated. If you have an alternate amount that works for you and/or your organization, we would be happy to work with you.
If you are unable to make a monetary contribution but would like to donate an item from your business, or would like to make a donation in addition to your sponsorship, the WLMHA would gratefully accept donations to be used in silent auctions/raffles at events in the coming season.
