Rules & Regulations

  1. All OMHA Rules & Regulations will be followed for this Tournament.  This tournament is sanctioned by OMHA.

  1. All teams must submit to the Tournament Coordinator a copy of their sanctioned travel permit and their team roster by October 28th, 2022.  Failure to do so may result in removal from the tournament. 

  1. Refunds will not be issued after October 17, 2022.

  1. Four (4) teams will be accepted into each division for a total of 16 teams.

  1. Tournament format will be Round Robin  Each team will play each team once.  Teams will be re-seeded following Round Robin for Finals.

  1. 2 points will be awarded for a win, 1 for a tie, 0 for a loss.

  1. Tie Breakers: 1)Most Points 2)Head to Head between tied teams 3) Most Wins 4) Most Goals Scored 5) Best Goal Differential (Goals Scored minus Goals Against)  If there is still a tie after all of the above have been exhausted, a coin toss will decide the winner to advance

  1. U9LL: All games will be Half-Ice Format.   Games will be two periods of 18 minutes each (run time). U9 LL will play on Saturday only.  Two-half ice modified games will run simultaneously. U9LL teams will be required to share the bench with the other team.  U9LL teams will have designated dressing rooms for the first two games.

  1. U9LL  Rink A will be the rink west end, closest to the warmroom.  A scoreboard or whiteboard will show the score in the timekeepers booth.  Rink B will be the east end, closest to the scoreboard and the score will be kept on the digital scoreboard.  Flood will happen after two (2) games.

  1. U9LL teams will be reseeded following round robin with the finals 1st place vs 2nd place, and 3 vs 4 in a fun game. 

  1. U11 LL, U11 Rep D, and U13 Rep D games will be three (3) periods of 12 minutes each, run time.  If the score is less than 2 goals in the 3rd period, the game will be stop clock for the last 2 minutes of play.  Floods will occur after each game.  Following Round Robin, the 1st place team and 2nd place team will play in the finals. 

  1. Electronic gamesheets will be used, and signed off by the ref and coaching staff of both teams.

  1. Game MVPs will be awarded.  Game MVPs will be presented at the end of each game.

  1. All players will receive a swag bag.
