General Tournament Overview
- U9 will play 3 Round Robin Games + 1 “Final" Game - All U9 games are on Saturday ONLY

U11 LL, U11 Rep ll teams will play three (3) Round Robin Games with 1 vs 2 in Final

For U9, games will be Half Ice Format (Two half-ice modified games running simultaneously). Teams will be required to share the bench with the other team (where allowed) ● U9 games will be two periods of 18 minutes each (run time)

U9 teams will be able to stay in there same dressing room for first two games

U11 LL and U11 Rep games will be 3 periods.. If the score is less than 2 goals in the 3rd period, the game will be stop clock for the last 2 minutes of play

U9-The Scoreboard will record the game of “Rink A” (west end, closest to the warm room) “Rink B” (east end, closest to the scoreboard) will use the flip score

Games will start on time and schedule will run ahead if possible

All teams must be on site and ready to go a minimum of thirty (30) minutes before, in case schedule is running ahead

All players will receive a swag/goodie bag

This Tournament is sanctioned by OMHA and will follow OMHA rules for Tournaments
Team Management Portal:
All teams will be management through the Team management portal which is assigned to the email of the person you identified as your contact when you filled out your registration. Once you have registered your team online, you will be prompted to create an online account to manage your team. This should be done by the team official best suited to handle uploading documents and managing the team.
Once your team has been accepted into the tournament, you will an email notifying you of this and you must log into your portal and upload your documents. You must also confirm your payment method.
Any teams that have not submitted their OMHA Travel Sanction, & Rosters by October 27th, 2023 will be removed from the tournament and your tournament fee will be forfeited. receive instructions on uploading your sanction permit, roster, and payment method to your profile. All of your team management MUST be done through the team management portal.
Tournament Fee Payment:
You must confirm in your team management portal how you intend to pay your fees. Payment details are available in the team management portal. Any team who does not submit payment within 10 days of the confirmation of your registration may be removed from the tournament.
Places to Eat in West Lorne/West Elgin:
While all local places are aware of the tournament coming into town, reservations are recommended for team meals. List of available locations for reservations coming soon!
